Blackwater 53393 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) You can find the scores for the match at: https://ponderosa-pines.com Go to the Cowboy Shooting page and scroll down to the Kentucky State Championship page where it says “show me ‘em” and click on that. Frontier Lone Rider Posted April 26 Posted April 26 They have moved the Long-Range set-up each of the three years I have shot it here. The current set-up is the best so far. It is open and you can clearly see all of the targets; except for me, I can't see that one set out for the Single Shot Big Bore. Others can and hit it frequently. The Long-Range Match is well ran by Jake who has an outstanding attitude encouraging the shooters to shoot and have fun. I will come back each year just for the Long-Range, even with my 7 1/2-hour drive to get here. Thank you for all of the fun. 1 2 Quote
Uncle Ethan # 94321 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 This was a fun match as always. Thanks Joe & Cat and all who put this together. The stages had something for everyone. Quote
Sixgun Seamus Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Great match as usual. Great stages, mostly great weather, great food and most important, great friends. Quote
The Revenuer Posted April 26 Posted April 26 It was a really fun match! Thanks to everyone involved. Quote
Escopeta Jake Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) Thank You Lone Rider ! You are a great cowboy and someone I would be honored to ride the trail with. Glad you were with us on Posse 1. For someone who says they can’t see anything, you were waging war on that 100 yard target like it was personal. Posse 1 rocked ! So many great shooters doing some great shooting and having a lot of fun while they are at it. Shout out to The Dirty Rotten Gang’s 2 new members: Johnny Morris and Montana Hannah ! Ciderbarrel Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) POSSE 3!!!!! Except for wiping out on stage 5, I had a great time! I totally lost all traction trying to run across the stage with the unloaded shotgun. I kept it pointed downrange, did not break 170, and luckily my loaded revolvers stayed put! The dangers of shooting in a kilt is that the gravel tore up my knees and left some skin and blood behind. Some were very happy, and some were not, that I decided to wear underwear Friday, otherwise there would have been a full moon on display in the berm 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Edited April 27 by Ciderbarrel 3 Quote

By far the best long range match I have had the pleasure of shooting. Fun for all ! 1 Quote
