Hey !!!

Really nice brief article.  There are a bunch of pluses for the Uberti built 71/72 but that is for another thread.  Liked it Cholla!!  Well done.

Exceptional article! I am in the process of acquiring a 5 1/5” model in .45 Colt to go with my 7 1/2” revolver!

It IS an elegant handgun, eclipsed only by the 1860 as pure eye candy!

:FlagAm: I absolutely love everything about these shooters.  The lines are pure grace and they retain the "pointability" of the earlier percussion pistols that the top strap pistols lost.

Two of my three in .44 .  I use Russian brass and FFFG.

Also have two in 38SPL.

By far my most favorite pistols to use.

Here are my long time (slightly mismatched) main match revolvers.  Uberti 1871 Mason Richards and 1872 Open top in .44Spl.  Black powder only, Frontier Cartridge. Those familiar with ungulate dentistry will recognize that my grandfather was an Elk.  As noted above these certainly are among the most handsome revolvers to ever grace a western taproom.
