Big Casino Royale Posted April 14 Posted April 14 This is a very nice example of an original 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine, chambered in 32 Winchester Special. The barrel retains 85% of the original bluing with some light wear idue to its age. The receiver is turning a nice shade of patina and approx. 50 % of the original blue is still present The stock is in very good condition and the fit is Winchester perfect. Crescent butt plate shows good blue retention with some light pitting. Action is strong and tight, The bore is "Good" to "Very Good" my photo is not the best, so please don't shoot the messenger on this. Ladder and front sight are correct for the gun. The gun was manufactured in 1925 with S/N 9585XX. This gun is priced at $1,850.00 with a $75.00 shipping fee from my FFL to yours. This is not considered an antique. Please PM me with any questions Thank you for looking 2 Quote
Big Casino Royale Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 No, it has to be made before 1898 to be an antique, but its is really good shape and it needs a new home All the best BCR 1 Quote
Big Casino Royale Posted April 19 Author Posted April 19 I should probably qualify this a bit better, in the eyes of the ATF, to be considered an antique, the piece needs to be manufactured 1898 or earlier 1 Quote
Cpt Dan Blodgett, SASS #75655 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 May not be antique but certainly qualifies for C&R Quote
