Seems that this is what it really stands for.

No

Government

Oversight

I do wonder why they call themselves NGO when none of them would exist if it wasn't for our tax dollars.

I'm guessing that the "supplied transport" isn't a second-hand VW Beetle ....

    ....... or a used Toyota Corolla ....

Why do you think Crazy Horse Memorial here rejected Fed Help to build multiple times.

1) They take in 14.5 million a year

2) They have put 5 generations through college with no real jobs

3) Federal funding would mean They dont control the financial books.

Its been 75 plus years and no end in sight . The rock now is unstable and they know it that one blast its over. The biggest money grab in the Black Hills.

yes - there are a lot of crooks ripping us off that get to walk away - we need to put them in jail and recover our funds , wouldnt need to raise taxes and the debt would be lower , but no-one goes after this ........because our politicians are complicit

5 seconds on Google shows that the executive vp at the NRA, at least 2 years ago, was making over a million a year.

This isn't uncommon at all, pick your favorite nonprofit and look up their 990.  There are are plenty of highly paid people in "charity."  Maybe they'd make more elsewhere, or maybe they wouldn't but you don't get good talent for free.
