Eliphalet R. Moderator Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Only current SASS members can start a post here. Non-SASS wire members may reply, but the seller is not obligated to sell you, even if you are the first to reply, "I'll take it". You may NOT post firearms that you do not personally own. NO posting firearms for someone else. Contacting the person who posted the ad outside of our Private Message system will be viewed with suspicion. No commercial posts. If you have an FFL, you cannot post any firearms for sale here. If you make or buy items to resell here, it is a commercial post, even if it is not your primary source of income. Even if you are selling at or below cost. Those posts will be deleted without notice. If you sell your item, edit the post and mark it SOLD. All sales posts MUST include a price. Trade posts must include what you want to take in trade. Posts will be automatically deleted one week after the last comment. We are working behind the curtain to bring this current. 8 2 Quote

Are SASS Merchants (who are obviously commercial businesses & commercial posts) allowed to post in the regular classifieds? If so, can we post negative feedback along with pictures when these business persons fail to disclose major defects in the items they sell? I would be happy to provide more information, photos and copies of PMs if you are interested. When was/is the “Posts will be automatically deleted one week after last comment” plan going to be implemented? Respectfully, Ethan 1 Quote

For instance, an FFL selling a pair of holsters, a hat, or other non-firearm items. From the SASS Wire Guidelines: The SASS forums shall not be used as for any of the following: To challenge vendors or to argue cases or conflicts. As a leveraging tool for any reason. 9 hours ago, Ethan Cord said: When was/is the “Posts will be automatically deleted one week after last comment” plan going to be implemented? We are working on that now. There were 15 years archived that we are working through. Much of it has exposed contact information posted that can be found if a scammer does a Google search. If you wish a topic to stay current, all you have to do is place a comment on it. We go by the date of the last comment, not when it was first posted. 1 3 Quote

Because of the specialized nature of the firearms we use, The classifieds are an excellent resource of estimating value. 2 1 Quote
Cholla Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I would like the commercial and personal forums combined with just a marking on the header for commercial. It would provide more value for the commercial vendors and more traffic. 5 Quote
