Help a cowboy design a book cover

Howdy pards,

 

I need your help. The Gunslinger's Ledger has been out on the trail since January, and I've gotten a lot of good feedback from shooters along the way.

 

Thank you to all the gunslingers who have already purchased a copy.  

 

But, I cannot decide on a new cover, so I'm asking you for your opinion. 

 

Take a look at the attached image and tell me which one speaks to your inner cowboy.

 

Drop a number in the comments:

 

1: Clean midnight blue with classic frontier lettering

 

2: Weathered black leather, rough as a well-worn saddle (the original design)

 

3: Clean rust red with classic frontier lettering

 

4: Dark, dusty trail texture with a subtle center brand

same with me. I like #1 & #3 -- assumingly with 'gold' lettering?  #4 looks good as well, almost like an old bank ledger -- #4 would also look good as a firearms record (ownership) book for your personal collection that doesn't need to be covered by a 03FFL bound book...

The RED is fancy and… RED! I also like 4. Not everybody can pull off that fancy red, right?
