Hoss Shoer Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Found a SKB 100 at a gun show. Nice shape. My question is who would you recommend sending it to for action work, chamber polishing and funneling? thanks. Quote

Captain Bill Burt Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I have five Fast Eddie shotguns. Why? Because they’re the best. 3 Quote
Tall John Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Hoss, I have had two SKB’s that were done by Doc Noper and both superb! (I now have one) HOWEVER, know that you can spend upwards of $300 for round trip shipping and insurance & transfers for this work. go to the Wire FAQ section and look at the list of Cowboy Gunsmiths to see if there is one within driving distance and give them a call. Ask them if they do this work and get a reference or two. IMHO The names above are all extremely good but the work to slick up a coach gun simply isn’t as technical as pistols and rifles. Heck I did a Stoeger myself. Now admittedly, I’m still relatively new to this sport but I have yet to meet anyone that didn’t love the Cowboy smith that slicked up their coach gun. 1 Quote
