Alpo Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Florida law says that it is illegal to maintain a gun registry. Jacksonville has apparently been doing that for 2 years. The local state's attorney said that she saw no crime and therefore she was not going to prosecute. The state's attorney general said oh hell yes we are. https://flvoicenews.com/uthmeier-moves-to-sue-jacksonville-over-illegal-gun-registry-overriding-local-prosecutor/ Personally, I think a lawsuit is the wrong way to go about it. I think they should go arrest people that had anything to do with it and put their butts in jail. Like the attorney general said - ignorance of the law is no excuse. 8 Quote

Subdeacon Joe Posted March 3 Posted March 3 My clipped groat, do both. The individuals for knowingly breaking the law. The city to change the policy and destroy the register. If you don't go after the city, that may not happen. 1 4 Quote
