Scarlett Posted Tuesday at 02:59 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:59 AM I’ve known Jace for a good while. Loved him the very first minute. His parents are great! The kids in this sport are so much fun. It takes a village? Yes. Jace and all the kids in SASS have an INTERNATIONAL village of cowboys and cowgirls who support them - each and every one. Hugs! Scarlett Quote

Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971 Posted Wednesday at 02:17 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:17 PM Sidebar: Jace wears his hat with a swagger that would attract the attention of a casting director for a western movie. Locally there are advertisements for extras in movies. Jace would likely be selected as an extra. Quote
Arcadia Outlaw, SASS 71385 Posted Wednesday at 02:45 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:45 PM Congrats on a great finish, Jace had some outstanding stages looking at stage times. AO & MH Quote
Right Again Dad Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Jace does not get on here, so as his Logistics Chief I will. As a parent, I subscribe to "I am along for the ride." Allowing your children to follow a path with some direction and guidance along the way has rewarded Mama Knows Best and I. That random day we came to a range and met some "suspicious looking cowboys" has resulted in what I like to tell people is the best possible sport a parent could raise a child in. The camaraderie rivals what I have experienced in the Marine Corps and Fire Service. The time I get to spend with my children is the reason I ended my service in the Marine Corps, the hardest decision I have made in life. "If the Marines wanted you to have a family they would issue you one" was a common phrase my senior SNCOs and Officers would proclaim as they were simultaneously signed their divorce and child support papers. Every posse we shoot with is the best. Meeting new cowboys and cowgirls or reuniting with old pals is what I look forward to. Posse 5 at the 2026 EOT was special. Cody James and I spoke quite a bit. After meeting him at Bordertown last year I took notice to his Buckaroo and Young Gun State buckles he still proudly wears. That stood out to me. One of our conversations drifted into parenting and family. He brought tears to my eyes when he told me he was "thankful for every shoot he was able to share with his Dad." You did good Mr. and Mrs. James. I will leave it there and thank you all for what you have afforded my family. 2 Quote

Preacherman Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Well Dad, as you probably know, your family is our family. We are so blessed to have you guys as a special part of our lives. I'm so glad that you're close to me and not hundreds or thousands of miles away. It is great to see you often! Good shootin'! Quote
