Dapper Dave Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Nope, not for me, but my loving wife wants to get boots like mine, which are Chelsea style brown squared toed boots. I posted a pic of them a while ago when I was asking about being SASS legal, IIRC. She was looking at Boot Barn online, and told me if she wanted something that matched my boots, she would have to buy men's. Well, I figured I'd ask here about any other alternatives ya'll might suggest for her to look up. Money is an object, of course, can't fly down to Nogie and have the custom guys do her right, (wish I could), but any places you might know here in Arizona or elsewhere that might be of service? Just a quick question. Thankee kindly. Quote
Alpo Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Why not buy her men's boots? I used to get men's boots for my daughter all the time. You just have to remember they're two sizes smaller. A woman's size 9 is a man's size 7. Quote
Dapper Dave Posted February 22 Author Posted February 22 I don't have a problem with that at all, but I thought some of the lady shooters here would know where the best place is to get women's cowboy boots. In the meantime we have already scheduled a time to go up to Boot Barn and check it out in men's sizes for her. 1 Quote
Kid Rich Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Cal Ranch has a pretty good selection of Ladies boots. kR Quote

Boot Barn let me down on styles and sizes )and attitude)but I found a Dan Post website that had my boots on my door step in six days. I was so happy that I bought another pair in brown. You might want to have her try some on for size before you order. They were about $130.00 a pair. 1 Quote
Calamity Kris Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I have always had good luck with Ariat. They fit well and have good support. I don't recall the picture you mentioned but I'm pretty sure there are some boots here she will like. 1 Quote
Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770 Posted February 22 Posted February 22 If you're coming to Tucson, there always Cowtown Boots right off I-10, and there's Boot Bunkhouse on Pima to check out. BONUS!! Boot Bunkhouse is two buildings down from Second Amendment Sports. There's also a new place, Cavender's, at Oracle and Limberlost. I've not been there, as they've not been open long, but it might be worth looking at. 1 Quote

Cavenders always good along with Cowtown i say any place but boot barn/sheplers (same now) I have a strong dislike of Boot barn as they buy out small local stores and close them the did the same when they bought out Corral west Quote

watab kid Posted February 23 Posted February 23 i have always been in favor of buying boots that fit and feel right - doesnt matter who they were made for and i guarantee you the seller is not caring of gender to make the sale , in my very humble opinion if that boot fits and makes her happy go for it , as an older person with tender feet these days i want things that feel good 1 Quote
