T-Square Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Well now… this one pains me to say, Looks like I won’t be ridin’ into Wartrace in June for the Tennessee State Championship, and that sits about as well as a rock in my boot. I reckon most of you already know—there ain’t many places in SASS country that hold a candle to that range. The Wartrace Regulators don’t just put on a match, they put on a full-blown, fast-shootin’, laughter-filled spectacle that’s tough to beat anywhere. And don’t even get me started on that banquet… most fun and a great spread, no contest, it's one of the best. I’ll surely miss the smoke, the stages, and—most of all—the company. Y’all have yourselves a time, shoot it clean and true, and tip a glass for those of us stuck watchin’ from afar. I’ll be back in the saddle with you soon enough. Duty has been called—my nephew’s wedding—and when family plants their flag, a body answers. So instead of gun smoke and steel, I’ll be standin’ witness to vows, celebration, and a young couple settin’ off on their own grand adventure. 3 1 1 Quote

They are actually orange and yes, they are rifle knock downs. They are the only rifle knockdowns, there are no pistol knockdowns and they are new targets and calibrated very light. Randy Saint Eagle, SASS # 64903 Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 I wanted to thank all who stayed after the match yesterday and helped with target painting on stages 11, 13 and 15. Deadeye Denny and I went back this morning, taped them off and sprayed the inside. Now stages 1-5, 11, 13, and 15 are closed until the State Match. Right now you can use stages 6-10, 12, and 14. After the May 2nd match 6, 8, 9, and 10 will be closed as well. After May 2nd the only stages open will be 7, 12, and 14 until the range is closed completely for the final preparation for the State Championship. Hope to see everyone in a few weeks. Randy Quote
