Virginia Gun Bills Moving

It is practically a foregone conclusion that these bills will be passed and signed by the governor.

If and when these infringements are found to be unconstitutional, the legislators who passed them and the governor who signed them should be made to pay all of the expenses of those who bring these matters before the courts!! Then a sizable fine for punitive damages should also be levied and those who fail to pay should be removed from their positions!!

We have several threads on Virginia. Bumping this one to the top.

At this point, an AWB is likely. Recent changes now have a grandfather clause, it was a possession ban until recent amendments. As written, it goes far beyond ARs and AKs, pretty much all centerfire semi-auto rifles.

A magazine ban is also likely, the only question remaining is if it is going to be 10 rounds or 15.

The state-level $500 suppressor tax died in committee, even the sponsor voted against advancing it. For this, I credit voice of the people. Keep pushing, but lots is going to pass and head to the courts next.

No links, drawing this from several sources.
