Georgia Arms sells reloaded .38, or at least they used to. The prices were very competitive, but the powder they used was a bit dirty.

There are a few dealers who sell loaded ammo.  Scarlett Darlin is a great SASS vendor and has great customer service.  You can find loaded ammo here.

I have purchased thousands of rounds from GA Arms, however after their fire, their prices quadrupled, doubled then doubled again.

Thus, I started reloading again, it just seemed to be the right time.

I won a box of GA arms ammo and agree that it was very dirty and too Hot.  I’ve bought several other brands of Cowboy 38’s but they were expensive and too hot.  Of all that I tried, Choice Ammunition is my favorite. Not cheap but nice lighter loads and they are big SASS supporters.  I did have a lot of mis-fires with one bag that I bought in 2022 but after speaking with the owner, we determined that it was a batch that didn’t have federal primers and didn’t work with my race guns.  Just specify that you want fed primers in the comments and they will accommodate.

Thanks for all the info.   Does anyone know if any of these will load your brass or do brass exchange?

A quote from the Bang and Clang website:

Please note the owner of this business was recently hospitalized.  Give him some time to respond to inquiries.

It’s hard to do brass exchange because of the variety of fired cases that come back and all cases aren’t the same and keeping track of various shooters brass with a small streamlined operation adds labor I don’t have the luxury of at the moment.

Thank you for the compliments. We worked hard to come up with a commercially available cowboy cartridge that would run reliably in any number of SASS long guns and revolvers.

Come see me at EOT! I’ll have lots of ammo! Love to visit with you!

Hugs!

Scarlett
