Think of it as chess meets horseshoes. It's not just throwing rocks and sweeping.  When to sweep, not to sweep, how hard and where to sweep to guide the rock. How to use that ~44# rock to move the other rocks at the other end of the sheet. Trying to guide it around the other rocks. It's amazing how much change of direction they can get.   Peacock is giving good coverage.   1 Quote

In the one that didn't embed, the way he got the rock to thread the needle between the other 2 rocks was pretty amazing. Quote

Dapper Dave Posted February 6 Posted February 6 The screaming from the female team members was...jarring, but OK, much more than I thought it was. Interesting. 1 Quote

Interesting.  In regular teams, not mixed, the men shout/scream too, it's just not as piercing. And in some of these mixed events you can hear the man shouting, it's just not as noticable. There's a lot of information in how they scream, too. Teams work it out and learn how each communicates. "Hard," "HARD" and "HAAARRRRD!" mean different things. Similar, but different. (an aside, I was just checking on the NBC App on my phone and saw "Women's Downhill Training" so I opened that. I guess there's a delay in the runs because of fog. Camera showed the women's team teaching each other line dances! A hoot and a half.)  1 1 Quote
