Saw this video clip. Thought it was a SASS match, I noticed the guys at the top of the screen with the plastic pistols in their pockets.

But they say he might be the reincarnation of Arthur Morgan. Who the heck was Arthur Morgan?

Yes that is a SASS match.  Those orange pistols are most likely wood painted orange and are being used as a designator of spotters.

I had no idea who that guy was either but PWB gave us the answer.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Been a while since I shot a match, but we used to use pieces of 1-inch dowel about a foot or so long, painted red, with a piece of string attached to one end. Stick of dynamite.

Boy howdy, I would sure love to be considered to be the reincarnation of a character in a video game.

The video gives credit to Lever Action Kid… I can tell who the TO is.. so the shooter is definitively LAK.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (the game that Arthur Morgan is in) has had a little bit of an effect on attracting young(er) folks to the western genre. Don’t know statistically how many have joined SASS or tried cowboy shooting because of it though.
