700X Cowboy Pistol Load question

Does anyone use 700x for match pistol load

If so please share. I would like to shoot 105gr bullets and have acquired 8 lbs of same

Will work fine for .38 special and 105 grain bullets.  Start with minimum loads published by Hodgdon (aka Winchester powder distributor) and work down to a load that fulfills your wildest dreams.  Hodgdon data has a 125 grain cast bullet load with a minimum charge of 700-X of 3.7 grains.   I'll betcha that would be a great charge weight for the 105 grain slug, too.  good luck, GJ

ive loaded it a 4.8 grns in 45 colt

I save my 700x for shotgun loads. Titegroup is easy to find for 38s.

I've used that in calibers as small as 32acp up to sg loads.

Not to high jack the thread but what’s your load for Shotshell ?

I haven't found one that doesn't work. Anywhere from 13gs/ 3/4oz up just have to find the right wad to get yer column height correct.

with you all the way - thats exactly what ive loaded and since it was years ago i loaded 7000 i cant tell you what wadd i used today , ill be looking for it again soon tho
