New Plains Region 2027 Regional

While still over a year away, the Powder Creek Cowboys are pleased to announce we've been chosen to host the 2027 Regional Championship for the newly created Plains Region!  Come June 9th - 12th, 2027 in Lenexa, KS, cowboys and cowgirls will convene at our "Prince of the Pistoleers" match for the Plains Regional Championship.  We'll be adding two new stages prior to then so we'll have a full 10 stage venue.  All stages will be covered so we're able to shoot rain or shine, and in the shade!!.  Mark your calendars for 2027 and stay tuned for more info as we get closer to 2027.  Side matches & swap meet, Thursday June 10, 2027, Friday & Saturday 5 stages each day for the Main Match.   Hope to everyone there as we're looking forward to hosting the 2027 Plains Regional!

I camped the Walnut Grove park in nearby Merriam.  It's the closest quality park I could find with full hookups (I'm not an Elks Lodge member).  The park is in an urban area so arriving during rush hour might be challenging.

 

Onsite camping was on a nice grassy area with shuttles to the shooting area.

That is correct, our on site camping is "dry camping" only, no hookups.  Walnut Grove RV park is 11 miles away and it has full hookups available.
