We never know what kind of weather we may get, so it’s a total Crap Shoot! There are still a few cabins open for reservation, and camping is free. Registration happens before the match- match to follow at 10am. Free lunch on Saturday. Maddog McCoy SASS #5672 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 The Crap Shoot was the first shoot on my list of shoots for this year. Unfortunately, things have not been well for last couple months for myself and my family. I am having knee surgery on my good knee ( the other one has been replaced) on March 18 and I figure somewhere down the road it will have to be replaced. I am hoping that I might make the Kentucky state shoot, Alabama state and Indiana state but not sure about anything right now. Have fun and I hope to see you all down the road later this year. Frontier Lone Rider Posted March 16 Posted March 16 (edited) Here in West Virginia the temperature is falling into the freezing arena and we are to get 2-3 inches of snow tonight. The weekend is still up in the air. But, I will be there for your KY State Match which is my 1st match of the season. Well, it dropped from 61 degrees to 22 degrees in just a couple of hours. We have 5-inches of snow so far and it is still snowing. But, by Friday it is supposed to be up to 61 degrees again and by Saturday it is to be in the low 70s. This is surely Crap Shoot Weather. doc roy l. pain Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Weather forecast for the match keeps looking better and better. Highs next weekend in the mid 70’s and staying pretty decent at night with temps in the 40’s. Come if you can. We don’t often get weather this good for the Crap shoot! 1 Quote

Blackwater 53393 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Lots of fun and a bunch of great people, as usual!! Two great days for weather! Cool early in the mornings, but it warmed up nicely and there was a very nice breeze! I managed to muddle through a few stages without dropping and guns or falling down. I received LOTS of help and I learned how far I need to go to get back to physical capability! I had a great time and a special thanks to the Jarvis family and Tombstone, Whiskey Creek Johnson, and the usual suspects that make it happen at Ponderosa Pines!! NOW!! On the The Shootout in the Hills, our Kentucky State Championship! Quote
