Howdy all, 

 

The Triple Classic applications and schedule information is now available on our website!

3 championship shoots in 9 days!  August 21-30, 2026 at Paradise Pass !!!

Pick 1, 2, or all 3 events !

SASS International Black Powder Championship

SASS Territorial Wild Bunch Championship

SASS CAS Midwest regional Championship

 

Come shoot 10, 20, or 30 stages!!! Plus side matches, warm ups, and mini matches!

 

Shoot all 3 events and you are in the running for Championship awards for the Triple Classic. All scores from your 3 events will be combined to calculate the winners of the first ever Triple Classic! 

 

All events are on site, Banquets, opening ceremonies, poker night, wine tasting event, cornhole tournament, HUGE FIREWORKS SHOW, B.P. world famous night shoot, camping on site for up to 150 campers!!!

All I wanted to shoot is the Black Powder Match, but I have found the Website to be very confusing.  It just sends me in loops when trying to find the Registration Form and I still have not found the form.  When I go to this, it wants to know what I want to buy, but does not offer a link to the form?

@Frontier Lone Rider when I filled it out it was just a matter of paying for what you wanted and selecting the category you wish to participate in. There is a PDF form that can be printed off and sent in. 
 

I think the online option is missing some steps somewhere, but that’s just my opinion.  I just wanted to pay online and make sure my spot was reserved.

I don't do the online credit card; I prefer to pay cash or with a check and mail-in my Registration.  I have yet to find the down loadable form to be downloaded for 2026.  I was able to download the form from 2025.

I just tried both of these Links and did not find a down loadable PDF Form for 2026.  I found one if you wanted to sign-up for all three events

There is only one downloadable form and it covers all three matches.  Just fillout the part you want to shoot and mail it in.

Thank You, Cowtown Scout.

I had seen that Form, but never would have thought of just filling-in the one section.  For 2025, they had a traditional PDF Form just for one event.

Glad that is sorted, yes the Triple classic form can be used for 1, 2, or 3 events. Just check off the options you want and mail it with payment.

 

As for the website, yes it is lacking with this much info in it. Godaddy doesn't offer a bigger platform for a merchant store.

We will change platforms before 2027 but after this years events.

Looking at the proposed schedule, I notice that the IBP Safety Brief is the day before the match, followed by BP side matches and warm-up. That puts a crimp on those of us driving distances, forcing another day of lodging (Not that I don't love Warsaw. And not planning on shooting those side matches). Any chance to move the Brief to day of the match?

I couldn't find details on the match scheduling.  For example, I'm trying to decide if I can fit in Wild Bunch but it is scheduled for 4 days according to the only schedule information I could find which was only on the link in this thread for the downloadable application.  I couldn't find it on the website.  Anyways, 4 days Wild Bunch + 3 days Cowboy + 1 day travel day before and I'm at 8 days and can't make that work.   What is the actual schedule of events for Wild Bunch?  If I can knock off 2 days there it might make the difference.

This is the schedule on the registration .pdf.  It shows "Wild Bunch" for four days the 24th - 27th and then 3 days of CAS.  But the club schedule is showing WB as 24-26 and CAS 4 days 23rd - 27th.   Looks like I need an extra day for CAS.

 

Thank you.  I think I have what I need now.    You might want to add a link to the schedule on the Event page and update the .pdf.

Thank you.  I think I have what I need now.    You might want to add a link to the schedule on the Event page and update the .pdf.

Use the schedule that LL posted - it is more detailed and correct.

Have registered for all 3 matches (Yeehaw) but for an Aussie coming over its a LOT of ammo.  I can buy some, and will. Can bring some, and wiil. But I plan to bring a small press/brass etc and load some as well.  THAT means I need powder. Cannot bring that. Anyone  in/around Indianapolis or Warsaw got a partial can of 231 they'd offload for some $$$?  Thankee

I have a pound I won as a door prize several years back that I don't think has ever been opened. I am in Indianapolis and in the interest of international relations you are welcome to it.

I also saw that and emailed Ruby but have not received an answer.  I guess C.C. Moonshine has posted the answer.

 

I have over an 8-hour drive and planned to use that day as a travel day.  I am also not shooting any side matches, just the main.  I am planning to make a lot of noise and smoke.

I only have 1,495 miles to get to Etna Green, so that's something like 24 hours, assuming I drive straight thru !!!

That's your round-trip mileage.  it's only about 725 miles one way from Georgia.  Now if you get lost or distracted going past the corvette plant, it could be longer.

For those wondering here are the round counts (+/- 4, and makeups and jacked, lost rounds not included 😁)

Optional BP night shoot will be 60 rifle/ pistol, 15 SG

For the International BP match it will be 202 Rifle/Pistol and 45 SG

For Wild Bunch 280 pistol 85 rifle and 60 SG

For the CAS Regional 200 rifle/pistol and 50 SG

If you need to buy ammo here let me know, we are producing ammo at our Gun Shop for 

several travelers from Europe.

BUT it must be preordered.

For the International BP match it will be 402 Rifle/Pistol and 45 SG.

 

Could you post a sample Stage Scenario where one will be shooting 402 Rifle/Revolver in 10 Stages?  Normally one loads 10-Rifle and 10-Revolvers per Stage for 10 Stages, that would be closer to 200+ for the Rifle/Revolvers and 40+ for the Shotgun, how do you get up to 402?

 

Thanks for posting the number of rounds needed for the match.  I normally bring around 300 Rifle/Revolver Rounds and 75 Shotgun Shells for a 10 Stage Match.  I would definitely have ran short of the rounds needed.

OK so I got your attention with my math error!!! 🤣

I have to stop drinking 10 cups of coffee and multi tasking as I post and try to math!

It's 200 rifle/pistol for BP match and another 200 for the CAS match.

Thanks for that update C.C. Moonshine.  I was racking my brain trying to figure out how this might be done, load 2 rifles and 4 Revolvers or have a bunch of reloads?

Now I need to take my Match Box and remove a bunch of Ammo.
