I don't really like coffee nor tea.  I simply use them a means of getting a LOT of sugar into my system quickly.

In the late 1930’s my Mother taught a Nursing Course at Mt. Sioni (sp?) Hospital in NY City. She once told me she had had a student from Ceylon. I believe that is now known as Sri Lanka. Mom said this student liked a little coffee in her sugar. According to Mom she ate it with a spoon.
Yes I use more sugar than I should in my coffee, but that is too sweet even for me!

BTW, I also like butter in my coffee.

Well, some of you use milk or cream...or some chemistry set project sweetener... but I like my dairy product to fit my taste and I simply love GOOD (Kerry Gold salted) butter.

I put a pat on most of my beef, and some fish, too.

I thought about that a year so back. I had a half gallon of French vanilla in the freezer, and I thought about putting a spoonful in the coffee.

Never did, because it seems like it would cool the coffee too fast. 40° cream out of the refrigerator cools the coffee too fast. 0° ice cream out of the freezer??

You would think so but it doesn’t really cool the coffee that fast . It all depends on how much ice cream you put in the coffee. Just a tablespoon or so is enough.

The video clip tickles my fancy because this Mighty Warrior,  proclaiming his lineage and battle prowess smoothly switching gears to gracious host who is offering, of all things, Chamomile Tea.

I've been using ice cream in my coffee for 30 years or more.

Other things I use in coffee from time to time, mostly with cream:

Orange Marmalade (at a diner I'll sometimes show the waitress the Orange Peel shreds in the bottom of the cup just to see the confused horror on her face)

Honey

Maple Syrup

Chocolate Syrup

Abuelitas Mexican Chocolate (sometimes with Orange Marmalade)

I've tried the butter in my coffee  and I  just don't get it.   Just makes it greasy.

His lineage and personal victories are who he is.  His Starfleet rank is a job title.  Here is a slightly longer clip.

She asks WHO he is.

NO , i add nothing to my coffee at all , i like it black and strong , i seldom think of tea but i might like a sweet tea- 'and a left will take you to the interstate and a right will bring you right back here to me'

Local  honey (now before we go off on a tangent-see the router thread-this is the substance produced by bees)

Pat of butter or beef tallow.

Teaspoon of creatine.

If I want the hard stuff, fire up the espresso machine for a double-shot.
