Doc Shapiro Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I'm loving the little bit of snow that we got the last few days. But there's a high pressure dome setting in on Saturday and it's gonna be around for quite a while. There won't be any more for at least 2 weeks

I think we set a record for number of days over 110 last year, not sure. "Snow"? Is that the stuff that goes on a SnoCone? Heard of it, sounds cold. Current temp at midnight here in Southern AZ is 52...glad I brought my jacket.

Its 8.30pm and still 34°C (94°F).

Rye Miles #13621 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Roller coaster ride here in NE OHIO. Snow on NewYears eve. Cold all last week in the 20’s. Today it’s 45, tomorrow and Saturday is supposed to be in the high 50’s. Sunday the temps drop and some snow predicted on Monday but just a dusting.

[/quote] I was here when Phoenix hit 122 officially - they had to shut down the airport because the air was too thin to support aircraft taking off. Tucson was 117 on the same day. I dealt with jungle heat once...and once was enough.
