Anything is better than snow.  I left Utah to get away from snow.  Hate that stuff.

I'd take some at the moment Forty :)

I'm loving the little bit of snow that we got the last few days.  But there's a high pressure dome setting in on Saturday and it's gonna be around for quite a while.  There won't be any more for at least 2 weeks

My stand last weekend. It was a bit chilly. No deer until I got back to the cabin. dc1e1489-48a2-42b0-b1c5-d6a113eb7368.thumb.jpg.842b125251c6bca440a1b4131fd1893c.jpg

I know the feeling, amigo. We had a few 120 degree days during summer, but like the old joke goes, it's a dry heat! I think we set a record for number of days over 110 last year, not sure.

"Snow"? Is that the stuff that goes on a SnoCone? Heard of it, sounds cold.

Current temp at midnight here in Southern AZ is 52...glad I brought my jacket.

We cop a terribly high humidity as well. Its 8.30pm and still 34°C (94°F).

Roller coaster ride here in NE OHIO. Snow on NewYears eve. Cold all last week in the 20’s. Today it’s 45, tomorrow and Saturday is supposed to be in the high 50’s. Sunday the temps drop and some snow predicted on Monday but just a dusting.

Still snow on the ground here in Minnesota, plus ice from the stuff melting and then re freezing.  But we're above the freezing mark, which is 25+ degrees warmer than it was last month for a while.

I'd be happy with 65°F 365 days a year.

Yep.
from Google

The hottest temperature recorded in Phoenix, Arizona, during 2025 was 118 degrees Fahrenheit (47.8 degrees Celsius). This temperature was reached on two separate days:
 • July 9, 2025: The temperature hit 118°F at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, the official reading station for the city. This broke the previous daily record for July 9th, which was 116°F set in 1958.
 • August 7, 2025: The temperature again reached 118°F, setting a new record for the hottest August day ever recorded in Phoenix history, breaking a 120-year-old daily record for that date.
While 118°F was the hottest recorded at the official Phoenix station, a local weather site observed readings as high as 122°F on August 7th, though this was not the official record. The summer of 2025 ended up being the fourth hottest on record for Phoenix overall in terms of average temperature.
I was here when Phoenix hit 122 officially - they had to shut down the airport because the air was too thin to support aircraft taking off. Tucson was 117 on the same day.
I dealt with jungle heat once...and once was enough.

That's one thing I never complain about.
