Earl Brasse, SASS #3562 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 (edited) That's stamp is "EL" Brown, alias "Rimrock". (Gene Brown). I have had him make quite a bit of leather over the past 25 or 30 years. He does awesome work in my book. I even had him build a holsters for odd things like Lugers, Broomhandles & LeMats. Edited January 3 by Earl Brasse, SASS #3562 2 Quote
RIDGE WALKER Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 Correct, the sheath was made by "E L BROWN" Quote

Looking at his makers mark it “looked” ED BROWN but that is a trick of light. Looking at my own gun belt, 3 holsters and 2 knife sheaths, I can clearly see EL BROWN. 1 Quote
Sgt Duncan Posted January 3 Posted January 3 After all this conversation, I have decided to post an “I will take it” I have a thing for custom knives. And even if for some reason I end up deciding to let the knife go in the future, I will keep hold of that sheath and add to my collection of “Old Pueblo Leather”. I met Mr. Brown when I lived in Tucson and commissioned my first gunbelt and holster. I later had him build 2 more holsters and a knife sheath. Years later, I had Rick “Bearbone” Smith build me a custom knife that came with an Old Pueblo Leather sheath. 1 1 Quote
