On my IPhone the proper emoji did not register as selected. It was the “sad” emoji but the screen didn’t pick it up.

I have corrected it and extend my apologies and condolences to Cypress Sun on such a tragic loss. Dads are very special and they leave a great void in our hearts. I miss mine every day.

Never met or knew him. Reading these posts, I'm sorry I did not.

So sorry for your loss.

When you look around you .

You will see Dad in everything.

If you keep talking about him and saying his name out loud.

He will always live on .

You and yours are in my prayers 🙏

Such sad news. Our deepest sympathies to the family. Cypress Sam was one of the first cowboys we met when we started wintering in Florida way back when. He was a good friend and a good cowboy and will be sorely missed. RIP, Sam. Annabelle Bransford & Rowdy Bill

I'm so sorry to hear of losing your dad, my heart goes out to you and all of the family.

He was a dad to me and will always hold a special place in my heart.

I would like to take a moment to thank the many cowboys and cowgirls who came to the Celebration of the Life of Cypress Sam today. The CAS community showed up in force to honor my Dad with well over 30 to 40 in attendance plus his many other friends from other sports that Sam participated in over the years.

Sam would have been real happy with the Celebration his Life and honored by all of those who were able to attend.
