Anyone have a link to this story?  It was posted here several years ago, about a CAS shooter stranded in the Middle East due to a plane crash.

Man, I wish I did. I remember that story. His CAS gear was in the plane. His persona was a calvaryman. Blue wool, boots with cavalry spurs, a kepi. Springfield trapdoor carbine, seven and a half inch Colt single actions, and he wore a red bandana tied around his throat because of the heat.

And the Arabs referred to him as the redneck.

Sergeant somebody wrote it. I can't remember his complete alias. 2001, 2002 maybe. Great story. I had it on my computer, which died, three computers ago.

He was around as late as 2019 that I can tell. Anybody know if he’s still among us??

Don't know if it's the same person or not but there is a Drydock that is active on the CasCity forums.

I found him earlier today, on a CasCity page from 2020, I think. Long time ago anyway. Four digit number, in the 7000s.

But I couldn't find anything newer than that so I didn't know if he was still there or if he was even still with us.

I think it said he was retired Navy.

To quote Mr Cohen, my mother thanks you, my father thanks you, and I thank you.

THAT WAS A VERY ENTERTAINING READ!!

Someone who knows this cowpoke should encourage him to get back into the Saloon and tell him that the first round is on me!!
