Not completely white yet but well on its way and it goes well with the light grey hair.  BUT, after 3-4 years of a long beard and long hair I just sheared it off.  Just for a change of pace.

i think im in good company here based on all these pictures - ive been white [after starting black] for so many years i forget some dont get here till later in life , mine started in high school - advanced in later years rapidly

Oh, but my man...Shanley's IS a beard.

The hair grows BELOW the lip line...which makes it a beard.

Third match. Also nice to notice I am not the only one, er, "expanding". 

 

Unfortunately, until I get my schedule un-discombobulated, I will only be shooting the annual match in April.

wait a minute - im not expanding im contracting ...ive lost about 20 lbs since my heart attack - not by choice just what is happening , nearly back to my post college weight .........................for the record im not bragging , im simply stating , its whats happening , ive shrunk a bit to not as tall , no where near as strong and if you listen to my wife i cant hear either , i figure my time is closing out but gonna make the best of it , i didnt mention my eyesight as thats been mentioned a lot on every site im on , 

 

no longer getting white - thats already happened - now im loosing the hair that turned white years ago , as the wicked witch of the west said "im melting" , ive taken to wearing a hat to keep my head warm and my body from complaining 

 

over the years ive never thought much of the end of life - now i am as im living it , its interesting that we always think of ourselves as vibrant till we are not , ive hurt alover for many years but pretty much ignored it till recently when it suddenly has put me on notice that im no longer able to ignore it , after 3/4 century im suddenly not that 16 year old in the mirror shaving my face[OK , ive not really shaved since covid - i just trim around the edges and groom the growth] its on my face not my head these days so i trim it , 

 

i think what im saying here is its hell to get old and m not happy about it because im realizing im in the end of my life era

yup , i guess so , nothing good coming of it and nothing we can do about it , 

isnt it interesting that as kids we wanted to be older , thought it was coming too slow , now when we are older its coming too fast and we would like it to be slower
