electronic hair removal

What is the term for removing hair by using electricity to kill the hair and the root?

 

I thought it was epilate. That I saw a YouTube short that was entitled epilating, but they were waxing. Okay, that ain't it.

 

Depilate? Look that up. No, that just means to remove the hair.

 

So what's the term? I used to know. At least I think I used to know. Getting old and forgetful sucks.

I still have all the hair that I had when I reached puberty/adulthood!!! 
 

The problem is that it has migrated to places where I don’t want or need hair!!

had the black before it tturned white but not much for curlies - might be a novel change - hat would cover it mostly
