Eyesa Horg Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Little flurries here. Maybe a couple inches coming in Tuesday. Hopefully enough to disguise the brown snow banks.

Stump Water Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 70s here later this week. I guess I'll get those gaskets replaced on the fireplace doors.
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 28 degrees at 4:15 am, almost 65 right now. No snow, slight overcast over the mountains to the NW.

Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Happens here a lot. We're about a mile high and get wind bringing in weather from all four directions, sometimes several times in a single day....and yes, the desert does shed heat at night. Places with forests and woods not so much, but places with little plant life to capture some of the heat, it flows away.
Trailrider #896 Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Greetings from balmy Front Range Colorado. I like "White Christmas". Have a copy of it on a VHS tape, and will probably watch it, time permitting! Really not so much about Christmas as about two Army buddies trying to help their retired WWII CO keep his hotel going because there is no snow to attract skiers. Great music and dancing.
watab kid Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 yes , im thankful and full of anticipation for days getting longer , i like it - bring it on

A 30 degree temperature spread is normal in the desert. Here in Tucson it was about 50 this morning. Todays high is supposed to be 84. In the Summer, when our highs get to over 100, the morning temperatures are still 70s.
