What hand/fingers warmers or heated gloves do you use this time of the year.

I'm thinking maybe a battery heated glove that I can take off just before I shoot.

What do you all suggest?

so ......i have reynolds so ive had a lot of experience with this , i have two pair of the rechargeable battery powered gloves , they heat the back of the hand and help , but i also have a pair of the hand warmer pucks in my coat pockets , these let you grip the warmth and warm the other side of the hand , i use them in combination , when im blowing snow the vibrations of the machine aggravate the condition so im always dealing with cold hands that are very cold - think the pins and needles on steroids as they thaw out after im done ,

all that said - both help and both are quite reasonable , for most folks they probably are sufficient for the needs , im using both and recharging both daily because its been well below zero here lately

From years of motorcycle riding in cold weather I learned that keeping your core warm is key to keeping the rest of you warm. Get a heated kidney belt that holds the Hot-Hands or similar warmers.

I've used both the Hot-Hands and the rechargeable hand warmers. Both work.

In addition to gloves, hand warmers in my coat pocket work the best for me.

Another thing to consider is a battery powered heated jacket or vest.  Our facilities guys at work have them and really like them when they have to work outside in the cold. Were I to get one for shooting, I'd probably go with the vest as it would be less restrictive.

Hot Hands Super Warmers, $7.98 for a 10 pack at Walmart. Larger than regular hand warmers and stay hot all day and into the night.

My old body won't tolerate cold weather anymore, but when it did, these work great.

When elk hunting I wear a pair of thin glove liners, the same ones I used in my cross-country skiing days.  They kept my hands from freezing but allowed enough dexterity to shoot.  I keep my hands in my coat pockets when not preparing to shoot.  My wife likes those Hot Hands Super Warmers.

I use to use one of these but the electric ones are much easier to use and control the heat.

May have missed it, but about how long does the battery last on let's say the medium setting?

We use heatedxfull gloves AND a heated  vest during the coldest times.

Combo works perfectly.

6 to 8 hours.  They are USB/USBC connectors so you can charge them pretty much anywhere.

That's pretty reasonable! Thanks

We've cleared winter down here in the Southern hemisphere.  But, my misses found a couple sets of those fingerless gloves with flip on/off mitten ends and REALLY liked them.  She could keep her hands toasty warm, slip the mitten cover off for scoring, brass collection and loading.  And, only removed them completely when about to head to the line.

Sofa.  Livingroom.  Power Recliner on each end.  Thermostat set at 72°.  Enjoy the wonderful Courier & Ives view of the neighborhood thru the Double Pane front windows while hands are wrapped around mug of Hot Coco or Hot Coffee..  Hands stay nice and toasty.  I try not to stay outside long enough for my hands to get very cold.  My coat is 'Lectric Heated.

Yes.  My Car Seats are also Heated as is the Steering Wheel.

You’re acting like it gets cold in our parts of the woods when shooting at the beginning of November. 😁

That, my man, is the way to approach Winter. A little Brandy also couldn't hurt.

my seats and steering wheel are also heated and ive been using the feature for a couple months now , my hands are very sensitive to cold these days and cold is anything below +60 now , gloves help but they are not the solution just a barrier to worse conditions

That was my wife's primary wish when I bought her a new car last year.  This winter she turns on the heated seat and wheel before she buckles up.

They come on automatically in my truck. The seat setting changes depending on temp when you start it. Usually a tad warm to keep it there. Once the heat warms up, I usually shut the seat off, but the heated wheel usually feels pretty good!

My thoughts as well.  Dealing with either extreme cold or extreme heat comes down to managing exposure and never getting so hot that you're profusely sweating or so cold that your violently shivering.

I use thermal underwear, heavy winter jacket, chaps to cut the wind, quality boots and wool socks, hand warmers in my jacket pockets AND hand warmers in my gloves and of course a good hat.  I like to pull my fingers back into the body of the glove with the hand warmers when I can.

Works for me.
