Thanks Try "Pirate Ship" , I've been saving on average 60+%. Just FYI. There is no member charge, just need to put a CC on file for their billing. Dramatically cheaper for USPS & UPS.
Sheriff Dill Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 I shipped two 15 lb bowling balls from NY to VT for $30 with pirate ship. Very please with their service. It allows you to choose what shipping options works best for you. Biggest thing to remember is a printer is needed to print the labels. Once that’s done it’s just dropping off at the shipping company location.

Eyesa Horg Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 I just shipped a 15.5# box to CT for $12.25. box was 15 1/2 x 12 x 10. Usually a larger box will be more! You look at Pirate Ship rates online without any sign in, just Google it and play around on the rates tab.

What’s really great about it is that you put in all of the particulars of your shipment and then Pirate Ship gives you the best options between carriers and service levels.
JackSlade Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 I can't believe how long it took me to start using pirate ship... I feel like I've been pissing money in the wind for years.

I verified a few when I started with the PO and the quotes were exact. So much quicker in and out too.
dahoney Posted December 18, 2025 Author Posted December 18, 2025 I’m happy to ship anything for our cowboy friends. I appreciate the helpful advice on pirate ship. I checked the rates and it is cheaper! However in this case it’s not drastically cheaper, which when you’re dealing with an inexpensive item like hulls about doubles the cost. Priced at 5 cents each cost results in 10-12 each.
