The city should've taken it for free. Now they get to carry it back up a bank and get rid of it for free.

I put a 32” tv out on the tree lawn last year and someone took it in less than a half hour.

Kind of amazing that the easiest and cheapest way to dispose of stuff is to make it visible and give it an hour or so for some scum to steal it!

Years ago a friend had a huge recliner that was getting sort of ragged.  He advertised in the paper with zero results.

 

His son Mark took it out to the driveway and put a sign on it saying "Mark, take this over to the office and put it in the lounge."

 

It was gone in less than two hours.

They'll only take it you put a price tag on it.

Not here, they take just about anything! I’ve never put anything out with a price on it!

ive got three here - not in use , work fine , but not smart enough for person in charge - ill be getting rid of then=m next spring i suspect starting to look at TV as a luxury again , im using a small one that hooks yto my computer so its not real smart - but it works and im happy for now ,
