Does anyone use the bluetooth hearing protection?  I see several brands and I'm interested in them.  Do they really work?  If you use them, which ones do you like?  I don't want any with the cords/wires.

I have akt pros I think I got them at battle of the crossroads I like them, they do have the connecting cords but so far I have used them for trap shooting,  cowboy, and just in the backyard for plinking. I like the brand and they have seemed to hold up well and would probably buy some of their ear buds if mine bite the dust.  I just looked and their ear buds are like 200-ish dollars but I may be wrong. hope this helps.

I have both bluetooth hearing aids and a pair of earphones with bluetooth.  Blue tooth allows the devices in each ear to communicate with each other helping eliminate noise and giving a better sense of where sound is coming from.  Further, your smartphone can pair with them bypassing the phone's speaker and giving better clarity.  They can also be used as earbuds to listen to music.  Bluetooth is not essential for hearing protection on a recreational shooting range but would be handy if you might receive phone calls during a match.  I received some calls during the Western Regional and answered them without removing my hearing protection.  (They were all nuisance telemarking calls for Medicare plans.)

I saw these in our local Costco today but wanted to research them further.  I am have to go back tomorrow for an eye appointment so I will pick up a pair, same price as on the website.

Thanks Wyatt, I just ordered a pair.  Hope you are not buried in snow.

Nah a few inches this past week, but all good. I hope you like them as much as I do.  You can adjust the level of sound amplification, and they still cut out the shots.

They may not be hand crafted like your loading blocks, but I would not go back to molded plugs after having used these.

Walkers Ultimate Digital Quad Connect with BT.  I own about 5 pairs of them (could be more, I forget) because every time Midway has a mad sale on them, like right now, I buy another set.  Not only are they MY favorite but when I teach I lend them out to students that are not smart enough to buy electronic hearing protection because I'm not screaming my way through a class.

I also keep 2-3 sets in my Jeep for shooting sessions of opportunity when I go out off-road with the family.   They are AMAZING for hunting because the 4 sets of directional microphones not only allow you to hear clearly with sound amplification but they give you DIRECTIONAL hearing so you know where the sounds are coming from and the volume is individually adjustable on both sides.  They are also light, fold and pack in a very compact space and if you get the gel ear pads upgrade they are super comfortable for very long periods of time.  The connect to my iPhones no problem so a run'n'gun training session is much more fun when I have AC-DC blasting through them, and I can stop whatever I'm doing to take a call from the wife without having to take them off.

I have many friends that are military SF and such and they can afford to get anything they want because Uncle Sam pays for their gear and they favor these like 5 to one 1 even more expensive units like Peltors and such.

AND they are on sale right NOW for only $59!!!!!
