I’ve spent a lot of time inventorying my coins and trying to find out their value. Unfortunately I’ve come to the conclusion that most are only worth their silver value. To a dealer anyway. They’re not gonna offer near enough, IMO.
I’ve seen coins offered here, so I thought I’d give it a try. Might be a coin collector on here looking for a better buy than from a dealer.

Please forgive me if I get names wrong

$1 coins: 10 Morgan, 4 peace

Half dollars: 1 Franklin, 1 Liberty walking, 9 Kennedy. Plus 6 silver clad Kennedies

Quarters: 321 Washington,  8 Liberty walking

Dimes: 380 Roosevelt, 65 Mercury

nickels: 37 buffalo, 18 silver war nickels

pennies: 9 steel war pennies, 9 Indian head( very low grade) and a BUNCH of Lincoln wheat pennies.

Ive only gone through the Washington quarters so far, and only found 3 that were worth more than just silver. Dimes next, then nickels, & pennies.

Spot silver is over $50 an ounce currently.  Melt values seem to vary depending on whose opinion it is. Lows of $36 to $38 maybe. Up into the low 40s.

I’m asking 40 times face for the average silver coins. The more valuable will be priced accordingly. Only 3 so far, and they aren’t significantly more.

Still have a lot to go through, but maybe this will pique someone’s interest

Really useful for condition, if not price (which is as bad as guns) The Official Red Book A Guide Book of United States Coins My copy is 14 years old, so not useful at all on price.  I sold off most of mine back when the book was new.  It was helpful.

If any of the Standing Liberty Quarters are from 1916 or 1917 I'm interested.

They COULD be, but the only 2 with readable dates are from ‘28 & ‘30, if memory serves!
