J.S. Sooner, SASS #73526 Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Wanted to see if there is a table showing production numbers that may show rare calibers produced. I have a 44 special for sale in a shorted 3 1/2" Sheriff's configure, wanted to compare production numbers. Thank you Quote
Timothy Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 I too would like to see a table like that. Quote

Oddnews SASS# 24779 Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 I would like such a list, too. I have a 5 1/2 inch and an early 7. 1/2 inch with the “patent” still in the name (and “Uberti” on the bottom of the barrel). I’d love to know how many were made and what configuration. Quote
Boggus Deal #64218 Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Over on the cascity.com website, there is a USFA forum. GaryC hangs out there and was a major player at USFA. He may have more info. 1 Quote

I have one of those. It just looked like a generic Uberti to me, but had a great price, so I bought it. When I got it home and looked more closely at it, I realized it was a USPFA. 5.5" .45 Colt, Nickel. The finish is flaking off. I also recently found a 4.75" .45 China Camp Model. These were done "in the white." I am very seriously considering taking both of them to Turnbull The USPFA I will have renickeled. The CC one... I dunno. Since it's in the white, it's a good candidate for being engraved. I will ponder for about a year as I save up for a descision. 1 Quote
Sgt. Hochbauer, SASS #64409 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 I inherited a pair of USFA .44spcl with 7.5" barrels also included was a pair of 44-40 cylinders. They have a beautiful finish. I am wondering what the approximate value of those might be. They sequentially numbered. They are not for sale TIA Hochbauer Quote
J.S. Sooner, SASS #73526 Posted December 11, 2025 Author Posted December 11, 2025 Could not find any leads to production numbers to my USFA Sheriffs 44 special. I listed on Gunbroker now, doing well with 3 days to remain. My local gun shop handling my transfer told me he has another revolver in 45 colt that should be on sale soon. Just in case any is looking for these Sheriff's USFA's Quote
