Saw that at the Nashville Air Show several several years ago! It’s almost hard to believe that it flies!!

When I worked on the International Space Station Program, we used the Super Guppy to ferry the larger trusses from the plant in Huntington Beach to Houston for assembly.  The plane made a circle around the high rise building I was working in prior to heading off to Houston.  Quite a sight to see.

There was "Guppy" then "Super Guppy" and then after borrowing a Super Guppy, the French copied Super Guppy with Jet Engines.  Originally developed to cary Pieces/Parts of the Saturn Booster.  Hard to feature the Guppy was originally built on the Airframe of the Boeing 377.  Then upgraded to Turbo Prop (Super Guppy).

I saw one fly into St. Pete/Clearwater Airport one time. All I could think about was "Is that a Shamu (Sea World) prop?" and "How in the hell is that thing actually able to get off the runway?"

I just now noticed the typo on the YouTube image that says “Supper Guppy…”  🤣

Avoiding copyright infringement.
