KingSnake Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 I’ve installed several sets of On Target sights I got from Scarlett. The inside top thickness of the slip on sights is about.040”. I remove that amount from the top of the revolver sight. Then I measure the barrel to top of sight. I remove material from the bottom of the brass sight to achieve the above measurement. Clean everything with acetone and use red loctite. Tap the brass sight down flush with the barrel and the height is the same as the original. 3 Quote
Yellowstone Vic SASS#32968 Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 I put a set on for Kat basically following KingSnake's methodology. I believe I used locktite 638 for adhesive. They worked great and POA stayed the same as original sights. They enhanced the sight picture for Kat for easy sight/target acquisition/alignment. Kat also has a set that Boomstick replaced the front blade with brass about 50% thicker. They worked very well also. lightly filed the brass until POA was obtained. 1 1 Quote
