Looks like a Pedersoli 1874 firing pin? If you find one, they are not cheap! I think VTI gets $30.00 just for the firing pin I have one and I think I have the spring I will look for them. V.D.

VTI is where I got the pin and spring replacements for my Pedersoli Sharps.

My next questions is how to replace the firing pin.  Looks like drilling out the pin is necessary.  Any help would be great.

thanks

If you need a drill you are doing it wrong.

As an aside make sure you always bring rifle to half cock before lowering lever.  Sharps and replicas will eat firing pins if action opened without going to half cock first.
