WTB firing pin and spring

[Tennessee Snuffy]

I am in need of a firing pin and spring (new style) for my Sharps 1874.  I have attached a pix of what I need.  Where is the best place to order or does anyone have one that needs a new home?

Looks like a Pedersoli 1874 firing pin? If you find one, they are not cheap! I think VTI gets $30.00 just for the firing pin I have one and I think I have the spring I will look for them. V.D.

VTI is where I got the pin and spring replacements for my Pedersoli Sharps.

My next questions is how to replace the firing pin.  Looks like drilling out the pin is necessary.  Any help would be great.

If you need a drill you are doing it wrong.

Shilo should be able to square you away.  As an aside make sure you always bring rifle to half cock before lowering lever.  Sharps and replicas will eat firing pins if action opened without going to half cock first.
