DeaconKC Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 I always wanted one of the MGs, Spitfires, RX7s or 240s but at 6'3" I just didn't fit... Quote

I had a MKIII Triumph Spitfire and a Datsun 240Z. I'm 6'3" and fit comfortably in both. Though at the time I was no more than 185lbs. Quote

Blackwater 53393 Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 I once tried to get into the driver’s seat of an MG Midget! I’m almost 6’3” and weighed about 235 at the time! It would only have worked if the steering wheel was removable! 🙄🤣 1 2 Quote

Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted November 15, 2025 Author Posted November 15, 2025 None of you say "booolits"? (You better not say you do or I'll get you suspended from the brother / sisterhood.) ;D 3 Quote
Alpo Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 I have no trouble with people on cast boolits dot com saying boolits ON THAT WEBSITE. But if they are not on that site they should write bullets. Because they insist on saying boolits, I find many newbies on various boards that think the correct term for jacketed projectiles is bullets and the correct term for plain lead projectiles is boolits. They use that term, not trying to be cute. Not trying to be smart. They think that's the right word. That, by the way, is the same problem with beavertail. Beavertail is a specific style of grip safety for a 1911. That's it. If it doesn't have that upswept grip safety, it's not a beaver tail. If the gun doesn't have a grip safety at all, it cannot have a beaver tail. But I see more and more people referring to the top of the grip/bottom of the horn as the beaver tail. A few months ago I saw an article - supposedly written by a gun writer that knows what the hell he's talking about - about the slightly redesigned Walther PPK. He said they had made the beavertail wider so you didn't get bit by the slide. Quote
