Memphis passed a law with many restrictions, but the law will only  become effective when (if) the state legislature eliminates pre-emption. Plaintiffs brought suit anyway.

 

Reading the actual ruling, the law in question is absolutely "dead as a doornail," case dismissed with plaintiffs to pay costs.

Plaintiffs who seek redress and relief from illegal or unconstitutional legislation should NEVER be charged legal fees and those who violated the law should be made to pay all expenses of the plaintiffs and the court!!

City did what they intended to do. Drain funds from pro- Second Amendments organizations.
