H & R 1904 38 cal part

Brownell's sells spring stock.  The only problem is you only need a tiny piece and you have to buy quite a lot from Brownell's.  Your best bet is to find a local gunsmith and see if he has a small piece or just look around at other old broken devices with springs in them and take one out.  I cannot tell from the photo but a hand spring from another gun might work and you can order many hand springs from VTI, Taylor's, etc.  When fooling around with old guns you have to be creative.
