High point carbine

I wound up buying a High point Carbine in 9mm. $350 I shot it yesterday at the indoor range. This is at 50 ft. Except for a few flyers at first it was pretty accurate once I got the feel of it. It’s a little rough but I can work with this. You can’t beat it for the money. I was shooting it pretty fast probably too fast.

Nah, mate, that wasn't "probably shooting too fast."

That was perfectly reasonable Break In and Familiarization!

Besides -- with something as mild as the 9P in a carbine -- it's FUN!

Picture please.

I think it’s funny that many people like to hack on Hi-Points yet I have never physically seen a carbine in any store or gun show.
I have asked gun store clerks and sales people why that is and apparently every one they get sells very quickly.

If Hi-Point Carbines used Glock mags I would definitely order one. The same goes for Sig P365 mags.

Congrats on your new carbine, Rye. :D

If I ever bought one it would be this one.

Grab-A-Gun has a bunch of them.

Glad yours worked out good. A few slingers when breaking it in isn't uncommon. I had one, worked great, sold it....but wish I hadn't. I just didn't like the takedown procedure and the proprietary magazines. A 20 round magazine is available, kind dorky looking but it is available.

I can vouch for GunClips.Com. I've ordered from them several times with great results. I never ordered Hi-Point type magazines so I can't vouch for the manufacture of the hi-cap mags listed.

That Red ball magazine is pretty weird but I hear they work fine. I’m going to order one and probably another 10 rounder.

They may be fliers but it still would have ruined that fella's day.

PLUS ONE fer Seamus > You Betcha

Since that were a "half - size" target, would have been very very lethal for culling midgets.  😁 Now I'm thinking . . . . Rye, I'm thinking I'm going to hate you  🤪ok

WELL RYE, now I'm sure I'm gonna Hate Ya 😜  Dat little rifle comes in 45 ACP and I already load for 45 ACP.  Now I just gotta find one ......................

You won’t be disappointed! Just about any gun shop can order for you. Good luck!

I've had several and currently own one in .40. Great little guns, and this is coming from an admitted S&W revolver and Sig Auto snob.

Click that link at the bottom of my post above. Grab-A-Gun has a few variations of the .45 ACP model.
