Rye Miles #13621 Posted October 16, 2025 Posted October 16, 2025 My son Frank started playing guitar around 8 yrs old because of Kiss. He’s now a successful guitarist and writer in Nashville. RIP Ace 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Pat Riot Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 Rest In Peace, Ace. Thank you very much for the music. The music that helped me forget my life for a while when I was a kid.
Cypress Sun Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 Thanks for the Rock and Roll All Nite (and party every day). Bought the Kiss Alive album when it came out, drove my parents crazy with it and other albums of the time. Rest in Peace Ace.
Vail Vigilante Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 This is such sad news. I really liked KISS, my parents hated them. I still listed to them. RIP Ace.
Abilene Slim SASS 81783 Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 KISS arrived on the scene after my time of ‘60s music. Didn’t care much for their genre as it all sounds the same to me. (Where’s my walker and Geritol?) Just the same, RIP to a member of an iconic band and era.
Blackwater 53393 Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 A great talent! I wasn’t/am not a KISS fan, (not my flavor of rock ‘n’ roll) but they were great musicians! He had great chops!! RIP
Pat Riot Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 I was just playing a playlist of KISS I have on Apple Music the other day wondering how old they are now. When I was 14 my friend had the “ KISS Alive” album. We listened to it so much we wore it out and had to buy another. We also bought a new needle for his turntable. Since he bought the first one I bought the second one. He also had some of their songs in 45’s. These were studio 45’s. The next year I bought KISS Alive on 8 track. In ‘80 I bought it on Cassette along with KISS Alive 2. I used to play the heck out of those working on the missile launcher aboard ship. I loved their music. I had other albums on cassette. Later on I bought several CDs of theirs. I still have the CDs. I will have to break those out. I found my CD boom box last month. Let’s have a round on me, Pards. Bottles, set us up. Here’s a toast to Ace and KISS! Bottoms Up!
