Yul Lose Posted October 14 Posted October 14 It’s raining and 55 degrees out and Mrs. Lose has been hinting that a fire in the woodstove would feel good so I built her a fire. She likes it but it’s a little warm for me. 10 Quote
Three Foot Johnson Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Day before yesterday for me (Sunday). We had a record snowfall for the day, and temps dropped into the 20's. "Record snowfall" for October 12/13 still isn't all that much, probably no more than six inches anywhere locally. It's supposed to be in the 50's and maybe the lower 60's again starting Thursday, and continuing for the rest of the month. Quote
Pat Riot Posted October 15 Posted October 15 When I read the title I thought of this… Thank you for posting this, Yul. You just reminded me that I need a new furnace filter. 1 1 Quote

Big Sage, SASS #49891 Life Posted October 15 Posted October 15 My pellet stove is setup and ready to go. It has a thermostat and I got up one day last week when it was raining and it was on. On again this morning. Looked at the weather forecast and it has us going down to 32 this weekend. Guess I'd better make sure the stove is full of pellets......and buy a ton of them too! Quote
