Costuming at Land Run

I wanted to start a thread for everyday costumes and shooters at Land Run 2025.

Boy did the Costume Contest participants go all out.  I hope they share some of the photography with us.

It was my first time attending - and I highly recommend it !  It was a great experience; the people, the events, the food, the vendors, and the shooting (big and close without P traps).  It's on my calendar for next year !!

(satire)   Still waitin’ on my custom chaps and cuffs from T-Star Leather...

I ordered a set from T-Star Leather at Land Run — he was one of the vendors, and boy, did he have some awesome leatherwork on display! He had just about everything you could imagine… except chaps and cuffs. 😄

Turns out, those are custom-made. He takes your measurements and talks through exactly what you want, which was an enlightening process all by itself. I knew going in that his delivery date was “July 26,” and I figured, “No problem — July will be here before you know it!”

Well… here it is just three weeks after I placed the order, and now I’m about to bust with anticipation! Might just have to give him a friendly call to “check on the progress.” 😉 (Just kidding… mostly!)

I agree I also went last year and it was a blast even with my mess up on the mine but that was my fault not land runs. so over all absolutely great match I had a blast meeting a few more young guns I don't meet very many so that's always fun.

I also ordered a new gun belt and i can't wait Im supper exited for when it comes because one of my pistols fell out of my holsters loaded when I moved down the mine. But I know t star does really good work so I'm willing to wait.
