I love a Chicago Dog!!  About the only thing that ever came out of Chicago worth eating!!

Chicago Dog...put every garnish and condiment on that you can find. 

 

The breaded and fried cheese split and a hotdog, fine.  With mustard, fine. Stop there.

Frozen chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick.

 

We had the Chicago dog franchise here for a while and that was a good dessert. Better than the hot dog.

Actually, the components of a true Chicago dog are quite specific.

 

A traditional Chicago dog includes an all-beef hot dog on a steamed poppy seed bun with yellow mustard, bright green sweet pickle relish, chopped white onions, tomato slices or wedges, a dill pickle spear, pickled sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt. 
 

No cheese, chili, or ketchup! You don’t use a pork, chicken, or turkey dog or any combination thereof.
