One heckuv an exciting game!  The Jays seemed to be trying to lose it in the 8th and 9th innings.
Some fantastic catches by various member of the Yankees.

Some of the other games were pretty good, too.

The Blue Jays are tough this year. They have a talented group of players, especially Vlad, Kirk, Springer and (injured) Bichette.

I hope they make it to the Series.

There’ve been some entertaining games this season!  My team has been eliminated, but I enjoy a good game anyway!

(so long as the Asstros don’t win)

Won't have to worry about the Asstros this year in the playoffs!

Their old coach, the cheater Hinch, is the entire reason that I want Seattle to win.

Personally, I'd like to see a Blue Jay/Dodger match up. I think it'd b e a good Series

I was hoping for a Dodgers Yankees matchup but Blue Jays Dodgers would be good. Watch out for the Tigers though, they’re sneaky 😂

What about him? He never used garbage can lids! Do,you have proof to the contrary?

He was let off the hook like the rest of the cheaters!!  They should have all been banned and the Series Championship vacated! It WAS PROVEN  that they cheated!!

If he wasn’t in on it, he certainly knew about it and that makes him complicit.

The ban would not have lasted long.  The recent changes in the Hall of Fame rules are a prime example!

It WOULD serve them right to never see induction themselves!!

The Dodgers are my second team, long story it goes back to me living in LA for awhile with my cousin for not quite a year. Went to 2 games at Dodger stadium. My cousin was an Indians fan but when he moved to Cal. He became a Dodgers fan. He’s passed away but I know he would have loved to see Ohtani play. I do, he’s our era’s Babe Ruth.

There might not even BE any baseball if it weren’t for the Yankees!!

You may not like to admit it, but it’s true!

I despise the Dodgers and the Braves. If it weren’t for the Asstros, those two would be at the bottom of the dregs followed closely by the Cardinals and Red Sox!

Been a Mets fan since 1962!! Went to the Polo Grounds as a nine year old and watched the the tragic comedy that was an expansion team! I won a bunch of money and straight As in psychology in 1969, betting with classmates and with my psych teacher!

The Phillies are done!  Eh! Don’t care much for the Cubs, although Swanson was a star at Vandy, which is my favorite college team.

I don’t have a favored team left in the playoffs, but there ARE a couple of teams that I’d like to see out!! The Doggers are number one!  Hinch spoils the Tigers for me! I reckon the rest of ‘em wouldn’t make me mad.

Baseball was started before the Yankees and there’s been some great teams all along. Baseball would have survived with or without the Yankees. They have added some great players to the game though!

If you were ever at a game in the stadium when Mantle, Berra, Ford, Martin, Skowron, Slaughter and many others played you would understand what Blackwater means.  Magic!  That's when the phrase "Four O'clock Lightning" was coined.

Believe me I know all about the Yankees, they were a pain in the Cleveland Indians side. The Indians would always wind up second or third. It was a the Yankees, Red Sox and Indians in the late 50’s and 60’s. I don’t doubt they’re a powerhouse of a team, have been for a long time. My point was that if there wasn’t ever any Yankees there would have been other teams that would have stepped up and had all those great players as well. The game of baseball is stronger than any one team.

Yeah....

And the team threw their historic home away.   That was foolish.

It had become unsafe and beyond repair.  They basically built a modern replica with better construction.
