CZ/Colt denied participating in Canada's firearms compensated confiscation program as soon as the roomer that they were participating circulated on the internet.  Canada's firearms market is a mouse fart compared to that of the 800 pound gorilla of firearms market, the united states.  CZ knows what happens when a firearms industry company plays footsy with gun grabbing government.   S&W & Colt made deals with Andrew Cuomo when he was the Hillbilly Whore Hopper's HUD secretary.  The 2A communities reaction was faster the you can say Jim Zumbo.  Retail sellers demanded distributors restock unsold inventories & distributors demanded S&W & Colt restock their unsold stock.  It bankrupted Colt & tanked S&W's sales.  It took several years for them to recover their sales volumes to pr-boycott levels.
