Whitey James Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 I am interested in picking up a single trigger coach gun. I know SKB's are favored by a lot of cowboys but they are hard to find right now. What are my options? CZ Sharptail, Stoger Coach Supreme? are there others I should be looking at? Quote

J-BAR #18287 Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 Browning BSS is a wonderful choice. Not cheap but used by a number of fine competitors. Quote

Eyesa Horg Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 My guess is that Colt ca. is helping to destroy the guns being turned in in Canada and is owned by CZ. And folks calling for a boycott. 1 Quote

CZ is not destroying any confiscated firearms, they are destroying excess inventory that the Government will not allow to be exported out of the country. 2 Quote
Three Foot Johnson Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 I've shot Tedna and Baikal single trigger shotguns for the past seven years. Several folks around here went with the double trigger Tedna, and they've been great shotguns. My single trigger Tedna has an odd preference for European primers - if I used domed US primers, the firing pins hang up and it won't open. Flat European primers, such as Cheddite or Fiocchi, work fine. 1 1 1 Quote
Pat Riot Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 It really irks me sometimes how the gun community can be our own worst enemies. We rant and rave about leftist news people and politicians spewing lies and BS, but we have our own bloggers, gun writers and video creators that do the same darn thing just to get hits so they can earn money from advertisers. Pretty sick of the whole lot of them. 3 Quote
