“Today, Maxwell House rebrands to ‘Maxwell Apartment’ to meet the needs of today’s consumer and remind fans the brand is synonymous with great tasting, affordable coffee. In a time where value matters now more than ever, Americans seek value in areas of their everyday, including where they live with nearly a third opting to rent versus purchase a home...”

Huh?

They say it'll likely be temporary.

You suppose this is going to be one of those great advertising ideas?

Like Bud light?

Like the Star wars Campbell soup with the commercial with the boy with two fathers?

Like getting rid of the Old Man and the barrel at cracker barrel?

Really really great advertising idea?

I thought you were kidding Hardpan, but it’s true.
I’ll bet if you check the label you’ll probably get less coffee for the same price as before and…

1. When drank some people will get pounding headaches like the woman in the upstairs apartment is walking in her heels all night long.
2. Some will find the coffee gets cold quickly as there will be an issue with the water heater in the coffee maker.

3. Some will find strange cars parked in their driveway or favorite parking spot.
4. The power in some folks’ homes will flicker the lights occasionally and they’ll have to reset all their clocks often.

I despise apartment living. I think Maxwell House is being run by a bunch of retards. Yes, I am using the word that sends bitter lesbians and virtue signaling fat chicks into a frenzy.

It’s late. I gotta go to bed because I know that…

Some of us don’t like other people’s noise or drama coming through our walls, ceilings and floors…and see my post above.

That's supposed to last a year?

"The Maxwell Apartment bundle is on sale for $39.99.

The bundle includes four 27.5-ounce canisters of Maxwell Apartment, which is "the same Maxwell House Original Roast Ground Coffee you love, that’s just for renters."

I’ve been buying 8 O’Clock coffee beans lately. Really good tasting coffee IMHO.

When I was an apartment dweller I always knocked on doors of people in the building I was interested in living and would ask point blank about roaches.
There is a smell that I can pickup if a building is really infested. If I get a whiff of that scent I am gone in any regard.

First big city apartment I got, there were roaches.  I took the natural course of spraying.  Whoa, I was nearly lynched by the other residents for disturbing the roaches.  The trick i learned was to put down a couple of disposable aluminum pie pans with half an inch of beer. They would crawl in, drink and drown.  Landlord sprayed once a month as well, residents were used to that.  Not badly maintained, but an old building!

Where  I live roaches are not a problem. We get ants at certain times of the year. I've seen videos from people who live in the east and south where it's much more humid pulling back a wall and there's just an army of roaches scattering. Also places where they have the huge rats. We live out in the country and do occasionally have mice, but those rats!

Yup 🥴 , when I was a phone guy in the ghetto of Hartford, CT., larrrrge rats and roaches were the norm. I've moved couches and had rats run! Gawd! I'm a country boy! It's incredible how many roaches can fit in a phone jack🥺
