Buckshot Bear Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Vertical Single Cylinder Steam Engine & Mini Pump and DIY Homemade Water Fountain Feature that I silver brazed up and mounted onto a plinth. I did a fair bit of modding to mount the engine and made the condensate pot from plumbing bits and pieces and did a lot of piping work from the pump to the water feature as well as the steam piping. A lot of fun running this setup. The dogs have a cameo in the video, every time they hear me talking 'properish' they think we have visitors Had to take the little one to the vets yesterday afternoon as she had a tick just under her eyelid and it was swelling up (she's on monthly tick & flea meds). They currently had 16 dogs in the hospital staying in various states of intensive care from paralysis ticks. Luckily she got the all clear and her eye swelling has come down a lot overnight. 4 Quote

Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 By golly now thank you, that's delightful! That's extremely precise work ... I'm looking at your solder joints ... it's one thing to sweat solder connections thick as your finger ... but to work with stock that small, and have it turn out that precise? Outstanding!! 1 Quote

They are bad all year but especially bad now its Spring Eyesa .... the native animals are immune to them (though young ones can still get a bit wobbly from their first bites) but they are the biggest killers of dogs and cats and other domestic animals and not great for humans either. Jenorado has had two and me three in the last week. Thankfully monthly tick medication was invented.....its made things a lot safer. 2 Quote

I employed Jenorado to help me as well as some inventive temporary holding rigs to hold that together Linn to silver braze it. I was darned happy when it all came out well! 1 1 Quote
